The Joslyn Center of Rancho Bernardo was founded in 1989 by the Marcellus Joslyn Foundation, which contributed to the support of the Center's operations until 1998 when the foundation was liquidated. Today the Center relies solely on modest membership dues, fundraising activities, events and charitable grants and donations to finance its important services and programs. RB Joslyn does not receive any tax-based support for operations.
Friends of Joslyn Major Gifts Program
The "Friends of Joslyn" major gifts program provides a continuing and reliable source of financial support to ensure that the Center can continue to make a difference in the lives of our community's seniors. There are four levels of giving:
COLLEAGUE: One who contributes $1,000 to $4,999 annually or on a one-time basis to support our operations.
SPONSOR: One who contributes $5,000 to $9,999 annually or on a one-time basis to support our operations.
BENEFACTOR: One who contributes $10,000 to $24,999 annually or on a one-time basis to support our operations.
PATRON: One who contributes $25,000 or more annually or on a one-time basis to support our operations.
All "Friends of Joslyn" will be recognized in the following ways:
- An award of appreciation
- Listing on the Major Donor Board located in The Joslyn Center lobby
- An invitation to the annual reception hosted by Joslyn's Board of Directors
You can make a meaningful impact on Joslyn's future and its programs and services by becoming a "Friend of Joslyn". There are several ways you can make a contribution through Direct Gifts and Gifts by Bequest.
